Candolim is among the most popular beaches in North Goa, located in Bardez administrative region. A very popular tourist destination, it is known mainly for the peace and tranquillity it offers. It is situated just south of the famous Calangute Beach, and is a popular tourist destination. Apart from the amazing food and drinks that are available in the shacks and restaurants that are in plenty, there are many hotels, guest houses and beach resorts.

There are many water sports like water-skiing and parasailing that one can indulge into. The evenings are rejuvenating with stunning sunsets.

About 14 kilometres from Panjim, Candolim beach is accessible from both Mapusa and Panjim, as a number of buses are available from there, as are cabs and taxis. From Chorao, it is roughly ride a ten minute ride to Candolim, after the ferry drops one at the Pomburpa side.
